As 2024 draws to a close, we at Polaris Hinge want to take a moment to reflect on an incredible year and share what’s in store for 2025. First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our customers, contractors, and industry
partners. Your support drives our commitment to providing the highest quality products and service in gate and fence hardware.
A Year in Review
From trade shows to product launches, road shows, road trips, pool barrier regulation changes, education and innovation, it’s been a huge year.
Kids and pool safety are a primary consideration when building a pool. Polaris were happy to be part of the SPASA Roadshow to educate stakeholders on Australia’s update to pool regulations and barrier standards. Pool barrier standards across Australia are among the most stringent in the world. This has attributed to lowering preventable infant/child drownings in Australia compared to other countries globally. Polaris Hinges have been designed to stay ahead of Australian Standards. It’s no secret that taking leadership in this industry is a driving passion at Polaris and we will
continue to innovate and do our part to keep pool gates secure.
In 2024 we launched the Powerclose with fantastic feedback and results. It’s not just pool gates that need to be secured. The Powerclose has gained momentum in the Locksmith industry and now has overseas interest and growing demand.
This little gem can team up with the 156 Utility Hinge as a formidable team in secure gate closure.
We hit the catwalk with new luxury finishes. Polaris featured a brushed bronze 125 series hinge, latches and spigots on Australia’s Best Pool TV show and received rave reviews. Look out for new colour ranges on the website in 2025.

Looking Ahead to 2025
- FENCETECH in Salt Lake City, USA
We’re thrilled to kick off the year by participating in the FENCETECH tradeshow in February. Fencetech is the premier annual trade event for manufacturers and suppliers to the fence, gate and perimeter security industries and typically draws over 4,000 professionals to the event. Come along for incredible education and networking opportunities that could help enhance your fencing projects. More to come on this in Jan.
- NEW TV PROGRAM – POOL SPA LIFE
As we usher out the year with our final episode of Australia’s Best Pools tomorrow, we commence 2025 with the first episode of Pool Spa Life airing 4th January 2025 at 4pm on 9LIFE.
Featuring our very own Michael Stuart who chats in detail with Walt Collins on the beautiful rooftop of the InterContinental Hotel in Double Bay, Sydney.
Walt is very well know on Australian TV and respected for his knowledge and insight of all things home renovation. Walt’s is Co-Host on Channel Ten’s Healthy Homes Australia series, Ten’s Buy to Build series and Ten’s Country House Facelift. And now he’s producing and hosting 9LIFE’s Pool Spa Life Australia.
Polaris are proud to feature in this new series alongside some of our trusted installation companies. This program has been a great experience that we hope viewers will enjoy and gain deeper insight into the development of our products and vision of both Polaris and our installers.
